of the top 100 universities in the world
founded after 1962 that the magazine has published "The Times Higher Education",

Alcobendas, May 5 (Reuters) .- The Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) ranks
58 in the ranking of the top 100 universities in the world
founded after 1962 that the magazine has published "The Times Higher Education",
although in previous posts Spanish universities Pompeu Fabra and Autónoma de Barcelona
appear.
The UAM has been proclaimed in particular, as the third-ranked Spanish university, having reached 37.1 points, appraisal has been prepared taking into account thirteen indicators grouped in the areas of teaching, research, citations, innovation and international perspective.
These categories are also used to create the "Times Higher Education World University Ranking", although that issue less importance is given to the academic reputation of the parameters involved, while the characteristics of the youngest universities are highlighted.
TOP 100 Fashion Schools in The World In the new ranking, the UAM has improved its rating in the areas of endorsements, from 51.9 points in the 2013 edition to 55 in this call; and has also increased its position in international perspective, getting 46 points from the 45.7 he got in 2013.
As for the remaining subjects, the Madrid university has earned 30 points in teaching, 24.6 points and 33.4 points in research innovation.
At the top of the classification are placed, as in previous years, several Asian universities, being the highest rated University of Science and Technology, Pohang, Republic of Korea, with a score of 69.8; followed by the Federal Polytechnic School of Lausanne in Switzerland, with 68.3 points.
The third place went to the Advanced Institute of Science and Technology of Korea, with 67.4 points, while the fourth position is occupied by the University of Science and Technology Hong Kong, with 65.3 points.
As for the Spanish universities, the most valued was the University Pompeu Fabra, which has gained 51.2 points, the same as the University of Illinois; and that the next highest rated Spanish center was the Autonomous University of Barcelona, with 44.9 points.
In other Spanish universities list, like Rovira i Virgili, ranked 66th, with a score of 36.2 appear; the de Vigo, in the 76th, with 34.2 points; Polytechnic of Valencia, at No. 77, with 33.9 points; and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in the 95th position with 30.4 points.
